The cattle, consisting of purebred sheep from Manchego, graze on the plains of the Campo de Montiel and the crops produced by the farm itself. The genetic quality of the sheep and the rich food used to feed them leads to a milk of the highest quality which is then used for the production of the manchego cheeses. The excellent location of the Terceras estate with its climate and vegetation is also ideally suited to the well-being of the sheep.
Las Terceras belongs to the AGRAMA entity, the association that works to improve the productivity and quality of Manchego’s sheep. This entity is endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and stands out for its work of conservation, improvement and promotion of the La Mancha ovine.
