Grand Gold at the Frankfurt Trophy 2025
Las Terceras once again places Manchego PDO cheese at the top of the international rankings: its Semi-Cured Artisan Manchego PDO Cheese and its Aged Artisan Manchego PDO Cheese have been awarded the Grand Gold medal, the highest honour at the Frankfurt International Trophy.


The Semicurado Artesano D.O.P., made with raw milk from Manchega sheep and matured for 3–4 months, stands out for its creamy texture and mild, balanced flavour, ideal for both everyday consumption and cheese boards.
El Viejo Artesano D.O.P., also made from raw milk and aged for 10–12 months, offers a more intense and profound profile, with a marked aroma, greater presence on the palate and a long finish; it is particularly well suited to powerful tastings and pairings.
These awards reinforce Las Terceras' commitment to craftsmanship and excellence within the Manchego Cheese PDO, and confirm that both the semi-cured (creamier and milder) and aged (more robust and complex) cheeses represent two award-winning versions of the same origin.
