World Cheese Awards 2025

Las Terceras cheeses have once again shone at the World Cheese Awards 2025, where they were awarded four medals in a particularly competitive edition held in Bern (Switzerland) from 13 to 15 November, turning the city into the true capital of cheese.

In this edition, Las Terceras won the following awards:

• Gold Medal for Las Terceras artisan cured Manchego cheese with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
• Bronze Medal for Las Terceras cured Manchego cheese with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
• Bronze Medal for Las Terceras semi-cured artisan Manchego cheese with PDO.
• Bronze Medal for Las Terceras semi-cured Manchego cheese with PDO.

Every year, the World Cheese Awards bring together thousands of cheeses from numerous countries and an international jury of experts who blind taste each piece. In this context, winning four medals is an important recognition of the work that Las Terceras has been doing since its inception, caring for its herd of purebred Manchega sheep and producing cheeses protected by the Manchego PDO, faithful to the character and tradition of La Mancha.
