Medalla de plata en Concours International de Lyon 2025
Our Las Terceras Artisanal PDO Semi-Cured Manchego Cheese has been awarded a Silver Medal at the Le Concours International de Lyon 2025–2026, one of the most demanding international competitions in the sector.
The award comes from Lyon (France), the country par excellence of cheese, in a competition held through blind tastings, selected juries, and a structured evaluation system. The latest edition took place on 28 November 2025 at the Cité Internationale de Lyon, bringing together 630 tasters and assessing 2,980 samples (including 2,200 cheeses and dairy products), with Gold and Silver medals awarded.
The winning cheese is made from raw Manchega sheep’s milk (lactic cultures, rennet and salt) and is aged for 3 to 4 months. It features a natural ivory-cream rind, a very creamy texture, and a balanced, smooth flavour that gains depth as it melts on the palate—qualities that make it a benchmark within the PDO Manchego.
This recognition in Lyon reinforces Las Terceras’ commitment to artisanal craftsmanship and excellence, and encourages us to continue bringing consumers an authentic semi-cured Manchego with identity and character. The Silver Medal adds to the product’s track record of international awards, further strengthening its presence beyond our borders.
